CERTIFICATION PROCEDURES

CE type-examination, for products which are covered by Annex IV of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and are in the situation described in Article 12(3)(b) and (4)(a) of that Directive.

The EC type-examination certificate is granted to products, duly identified, which comply with the standards and legal normative documents in the European Union.

Type certification, (Scheme 1a, cf. EN ISO/IEC 17067:2013), for series products of the machinery and equipment industry, covered by:

•      - Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, and which are not covered by Annex IV;
•      - Other directives in the area of competence.

The Certificate of Conformity is awarded to products that comply with the reference standard or the corresponding normative document.

Batch certification, (Scheme 1b, cf. EN ISO/IEC 17067:2013), for batches of products of the machinery and equipment industry, covered by:

•       - Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, and which are not covered by Annex IV
•       - Other Directives in the area of competence.

The Certificate of Conformity is awarded to products that comply with the reference standard or the corresponding normative document.

Verification of the Technical File (Internal production control), for products of the machinery and equipment industry regulated by:

•       - Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, and which are not covered by Annex IV
•       - Other Directives in the field of competence

The Certificate of Conformity is granted if, after verification of the Technical File, it appears that it has been drawn up in accordance with the regulations of the relevant Directives.
